  • Sign up for 20/20 planner with Toronto Public Health and learn how to reduce your emissions by 20%.
  • Book a Summer WaterSaver visit - a free lawn and garden consultation.
  • Dispose of CFL light bulbs safely at your local Community Environmental Day, selected Toronto Hydro locations or home improvement stores. They may contain trace amounts of mercury.
  • Capture rainwater to use in your garden. Rain barrels available at your local Community Environmental Day.
  • Disconnect your downspout to prevent basement flooding and stormwater pollution from entering the lake.
  • Go pesticide free.
  • Get up to $3200 to protect your home from basement flooding through the Basement Flooding Protection Subsidy Program.
  • Get $60 cash back when you purchase a new high-efficency washer.
